About Kyle

Strong Parent Leadership

I'm Kyle Reaburn, your current trustee, and I'm running to continue serving Ward 6 (City of Guelph) and the Township of Puslinch.

I'm a long-time resident, I attended the University of Guelph, and later served on the Guelph Alumni Board. I'm proud to have deep roots here, and proud to be raising my son in this community. This is something I don't take for granted. These schools are his schools too. I will lend my experience and understanding as a parent to this job.

Professionally, I work in healthcare, specifically home care, where I see every day how much the wellbeing of individuals depends on strong community supports. That perspective shapes how I approach my role as trustee: with a focus on the whole studnet and their wellbeing.

Over the last year, I have worked hard to represent the interests of our community and to build a school environment that inspires confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. I am proud to have initiated a motion to formally honour our local Olympians, and I am actively working to bring astronaut Jeremy Hansen to speak to our students, a reminder that with ambition and grit, there are no limits to what our children can achieve.

I am eager to continue earning your trust and working alongside you to build a stronger, more vibrant future for our schools and our community.
